Tattinger Marsh was created in February 2004 by Neil Wise and Victoria Currie, a father and daughter team that has proven to be a formidable and hugely successful combination.
With Victoria's further education leading to interior design and university training in interiors and furnishing manufacture, her love of property and home decor gave the perfect background for design led retail.
The collaboration with Neil Wise, in early 2004, sparked the beginning of a very successful partnership and due to Neil's extensive business knowledge and contacts, the company was assured of a sound and exciting future.
Tattinger Marsh were proud to open the first Tattinger Marsh store in Dyer Street, Cirencester with a grand opening party supported by over 200 guests and presented by Costwold Life.
The shop's light and airy atmosphere and unique displays allow customers to browse for hours, a practice we encourage. We feel that it is important for our customers to view products in room settings and feel able to touch and feel the products they buy.
Tattinger Marsh has developed very quickly as a business and within twelve months of the opening of the Cirencester store the time had come to open another store and we headed to Marlborough, Wiltshire where in September 2005 we found another prime site on the High Street.
The listed building is one of a kind, lending itself to the products perfectly. The shop floor is separated into two floors and several rooms, creating a charming feel and a warm and inviting atmosphere.
