The wide open spaces of Blunsdon

Two Years Old

The Blog is almost 2 years old. During that time it has attracted over 250,000 visitors - not bad for a niche site!

But all things must come to an end, or at least, in this case a gentle slowing down.

With the season over for Swindon, and changes in my circumstances, I feel that it is probably best to slow down publication of future blogs. Let's face it, there are only so many times that you can read about us removing and storing the air fence, and if you've been with me since the beginning you've read it twice, so postings will only be when I can get the enthusiasm back again, and can find something new and lively to write about.

In the meantime, can I thank the following for all of their support over the last two years :

Gerald, Punch, Roy, Adam, Aaron, Stan, Bob, Mike, Edwin, Jamie, Neil, Paul, the Da Vinci's, Shirls, Karen and all of the other members of the backstage and track staff teams at Swindon;

Jeff Scott, Chris Seaward, Richard Crowley, Robert Bamford and Ian Hawkins for their invaluable contributions and assistance;

the Blunsdon Bloggers (you know who you are);

all the guys at Edinburgh;

Neil Wise, Victoria Currie and Charlie Wise at Tattinger Marsh for allowing me use of their web space;

all those kind people that I met at Vetlanda and Gislaved (Lejonen) last year;

and, especially, my family, who have put up with me spending countless hours trying to get blogs finished and posted.

Thanks
