Obviously, a number of these will be used to fill up the spaces as yet unfilled, but not all will get a place. Given the quality above, it really is difficult to see how we can still claim to have the "Best League in the world" or even how we can actually append the adjective "Elite" to the title of the league.

As riders are used so I will add them to teams and delete them from the list.

Here are the approximate / actual averages for all those "left on the shelf". Mathinks I foresee a competition to see who can come up with the best team from those not riding at the start of the 2008 season. Time to get your thinking hats on - there are some real gems in this lot!

News that Chris Schramm has decided to join Ipswich has meant that the Bullets have had to re-declare their team. Replacing Schramm will be Krzysztof Buczkowski, who impressed in a short space of time at Reading last year.
